by Michael Jones The King of Pork Taste ***** Location *** Service ***** Atmosphere *** Value ***** Seoraegol Ddukbaegi-jip (서래골뚝배기) has been in business since 1962 and serves mouthwatering Jeyuk Bokkeum. This dish of thinly sliced pork is marinated in a thick and spicy chili paste and stir-fried, but at this restaurant the meat tastes chargrilled and the slightly spicy sauce complements the fattiness of the meat. For 16,000 won you receive enough Jeyuk Bokkeum for two people, delicious side dishes, and you also get to choose a complimentary stew. We usually order the Kimchi Jjigae. The broth is tangy, spicy, and filled with tofu and slices of pork. The restaurant is definitely worth the trip. Seoraegol Ddukbaegi-jip serves our favorite Jeyuk Bokkeum in Seoul. The owner is friendly, the service is fast, and the food is fantastic. Directions:
Near the 삼호가든 bus stop (bus lines 3012, 6020, or 서초10) OR walk from Express bus terminal, exit 3. Walk to the big intersection then take a right. The restaurant is in a basement. Please refer to the korean address. 서울 서초구 고무래로 22 쌍동빌딩 서관 지하1층
